A casual Italian in east downtown West Palm Beach steps from the new docks and great lawn, this family-oriented spot offers traditional Southern Italian dishes like minestrone, fried zucchini, clams oreganata, and fried calamari for starters. Panini and heroes include a group named for the boroughs of New York -- evidence of a Little Italy background somewhere in the management. A long list of pastas, fresh with sauce and meats or baked with a crispy top crust of cheese, is offered at both lunch and dinner (menu's the same; only the prices posted change). Chicken, veal, and shrimp entrées are listed with a menu of preparations -- chicken, for instance, comes pizzaiola, Milanese, scarpariello, Francese, Marsala, or Parmigiana. Along with a number of pizzas, including specialty pies like the pizza Bianca or broccoli rabe sausage pizza, there are calzones and Stromboli. A special children's menu keeps the youngsters, who may have just come from playing in the fountain, happy.
